
I think the best thing here might be to export your models out as. I'm a bit confused about one thing, did you create these in 2008 and are trying to open in 8? Or did they get created in 2008 and are trying to open in 2008? Thanks for clearing that up for me. The error message " Unknown Class, no stand-in: Super ID=0xB60, Class ID=0x4A0C66E1,0x1513165" usually means that the file being opened was created in a newer version of 3ds Max. The GI Joe style lights in a dome around your scene didn't export properly.

I have saved the file down to 2011 from 2014 and included an FBX here with your lights and cameras. If Direct3D is the problem you should be able to change that and restart max then retry the file.

I also don't see any plugins in use here really, no reactor or anything like that. I don't have any versions prior to that installed but those ones did open it fine. Hello to help! I am able to open this file with no issues in 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017.
